Year Four welcomed an intrepid explorer to the classroom today (looking remarkably like Mr Raine), complete with boots, trekking poles, sleeping bag, and other essential equipment. The children guessed what was in the explorer's rucksack and thought about what it would be like to discover new lands or environments. They then explored the school grounds as if they were the first people ever to visit.
