Year 3 had a fantastic day out at Bede's world yesterday. All children said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and returned to school with lots of exciting new facts about Saint Bede. The children were involved in a wide range of activities ranging from dressing up as monks and walking through the monastry as the monks would have in Bede's time to our tour guide locking us all in an Anglo-Saxon refrigerator! A BIG thank you to all year 3 children who received comments throughout the day from staff and visitors at the centre about their immaculate behaviour and superb questions.
Also, a special thank you to all the parents helpers who came along with us despite the cold weather! You were all a great help!
