Y4 Open Literacy Lesson

Year Four children welcomed parents into their literacy lesson today to show them what we are learning about stories with imaginary settings. Our lesson was based on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The children got to give their parents "bossy" commands using imperative verbs, before writing instructions on how to re-build the Iron Man after he had fallen off a cliff. Jack and Tarn decided the most important instruction after rebuilding the monster was - "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!"
