Year 3 had loads of fun during their DT week where they all made part of an Egyptian quilt. The children were involved with cutting, sticking and stitching - I have to say some ended up with more pin pricks than stitches in their quilts but everyone still thoroughly enjoyed taking part! The squares are currently getting stitched together and each class will then have a patchwork quilt - Egyptian style!
