Eight pupils from year 3 represented our school at a tennis tournament held at Lord Lawson school on Thursday 24th January against St. Annes Primary school. Not only were these children well mannered, mature and sensible, but they also showed outstanding sportsmanship. The coach working with these children commented on how good the behaviour had been. Thank you all for acting so responsibly and playing such fair matches.
Oakfield Junior School won the tournament 76 points to 54. Fantastic effort year 3!
It made Miss Tully's day when she noticed the children from Oakfield school shaking hands with each of the children from St. Annes Primary after the tournament. Thank you all again!
