In Science this week we carried out an investigation to see if water provides an upward force on objects. We looked at the forces acting on floating and sinking objects. Also we suspended objects in the air and weighed them using a forcemeter, then we weighed the same object whilst it was submerged in water and found that objects weigh less in water.
