6M RE

In RE we have been looking at making choices and what beliefs and values we base our choices on. We then looked at the 10 Commandments and tried to place them in order of importance, for what we believe. We then turned them into modern day language and used poetic verse as a way to help us remember them.

Do not covet,
Do not lie,
Respect your parents- Stop your sigh,
Don't idolise,
Don't dare roll them eyes,
Only worship me,
Remember to keep the sabbath holy,
Never misuse my name,
Adultery is not a game,
Do not steal,
Murdering is not the deal.
By Louis, Thomas and Emily

Never murder it's against the law,
Don't steal, swear or do adultery so.
Treat your parents with respect,
God's name you must protect.
Follow my rules one to ten,
Listen while I read again.
Remember to always be true,
Remember I'm the God for you.
Do not commit jealously,
Relax on Sundays, keep them free.
By Bethany Simpson, Izaak Scott-Briggs and Hannah Cairns

Do not murder steal or lie, it will make you sigh and cry,
Honour your mother and father to the very last,
Make jeolousy a thing of the past,
Please do not abuse the name of God,
I am the one and only, remember to worship me.
by Kate Glasgow,Emma Graham and Abby Winship.
