6M DT Week
Our DT design brief was to design and build a bridge to cross the river, allowing the boat to sail underneath it, while holding a given weight.
We all worked in groups to complete this challenge, making sure we worked co-operatively and as a 'team.'
Mark Foggin said, "It was a fun week and it was good because you don't get the opportunity to use the saws and other tools every week."
As a whole 6M thoroughly enjoyed the week and can't wait for our next DT week, which will be in the Spring term.
Here are some pictures of the groups with their finished bridges after they evaluated them. Some are more stable than others!!

It's great to see pictures of the models that the children have made and talked about at home, especially with the children around them.
