Nina Weatherburn's Suspense Story
Fear That House
Shivering my arm reached out towards the mossy iron gate. As I clutched the handle tightly a trickle of fear ran down my spine. I felt so afraid and longed for her comforting hand to hold. How had it come to this? I had to get inside but how? What if I was seen? I pushed gently on the gate but harder than I should have done. All at once it scraped along the broken cobble path, singing a song of death. I quickly ran through and darted into a bush. Even though everything was silent now, the voice still rang in my head, her voice, I was almost sure it was her voice, but how?
